Last updated: February 26, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using IntelliTab ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.
2. Description of Service
IntelliTab is a Chrome browser extension that uses third-party AI APIs to analyze and group browser tabs. The Extension is provided free of charge. Users are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own API keys for their chosen provider (e.g., Groq, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic).
3. User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for obtaining a valid AI API key and complying with the respective provider's Terms of Service (e.g., Groq, OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic).
- You are responsible for all API calls made through IntelliTab using your key, including any associated costs or rate limits imposed by the provider.
- You agree not to use the Extension for any unlawful purpose.
- You understand that tab titles and URLs are sent to your chosen AI provider's servers when you initiate an AI analysis. You consent to this data transfer by using the feature.
4. Third-Party Services
IntelliTab integrates with third-party AI APIs. We have no affiliation with these providers (e.g., Groq, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic). Your use of their services is governed entirely by their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. IntelliTab takes no responsibility for provider data handling, uptime, pricing, or any changes to their APIs.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
IntelliTab is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, including but not limited to:
- Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated tab groupings
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with future Chrome versions
- Fitness for a particular purpose
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers of IntelliTab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any other damages resulting from your use of the Extension.
7. Intellectual Property
The Extension's source code is provided under its applicable open-source license. The IntelliTab name and branding are proprietary. You may not redistribute a modified version of IntelliTab under the IntelliTab name without permission.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
